About Finlink

Finlink was formed in March 2020 just as Coronavirus was hitting the headlines and the UK went into its first national lockdown. It was founded by the two Directors of the business, Steve and Spencer – (bad photos and bio’s below). After the initial setup phase, Finlink secured its first client in May 2020 and wrote its first financial planning report in the same month.

As we started to win more clients, our first paraplanner partnered with us in June 2020 and still undertakes Finlink report writing work today. This side of the business has grown steadily, and we now have a number of paraplanners who work with Finlink to produce financial reports.

In August 2020, we secured our first client in the recruitment side of our business. Since this time, we have continued to grow our recruitment team and now support about 200 firms with their recruitment needs, ranging from firms with one adviser, to those with over a thousand.

In May 2022, we started to support advisors with generating their own leads from LinkedIn.

During 2023, we soft launched our support to helping advisers buy and sell client banks/firms.

Our vision

It’s a cliché, but we put honesty and integrity at the forefront of everything we do. The Financial Services industry is heavily centered around “positive customer outcomes” and “Treating Customers Fairly”. Having worked within this industry for many years, we believe that these values should be central to everything we do. Therefore, the whole of our business whether this be for paraplanning, recruitment or lead generation operates under the regime that we want to do the best for our customers by “doing the right thing”.
